What do you consistently hold in your mind?

Image
“ Everything is created twice , first in the mind and then in reality.” ― Robin S. Sharma The things you see around you now, were first created in someone's imaginations. Even the things others thought they were impossible, such as; flying an aircraft, going to other planets, building skyscraper, etc. Imagination is very powerful, but it is a pity most of us do not use our minds creatively.  I have realized that people are afraid to imagine things that are bigger than them. We always limit our imaginations to only what  we know. But if you look at people who went from zero to hero, you will realize that as they were struggling and suffering limitations, they had a picture of where they want to be in mind.  What pictures do you hold in your subconscious mind concerning your future? What we continually think about will eventually manifest in our lives. Today, consciously create the thoughts you want dominant in your life. Your dominant thoughts will determine your success and fail

WHAT IS YOUR CONFIDENCE?

Image
We all have areas where we are confident. There are people who are overly confident in themselves and there are people who lack confidence in every possible way. In life, one needs confidence to be successful. It takes confidence to live your dreams, meet targets, stand your ground, speak out and do exploits. People’s confidences do fail them though and that is when it becomes as if life is no longer beautiful. King David had reasons to put his confidence in the following: ·         His Beauty: 1 Samuel 6:12; “So Jesse sent for him. He was dark and handsome, with beautiful eyes. And the LORD said, “This is the one; anoint him.” A lot of people who pride in their beauty are not even as beautiful as David. He was more beautiful than handsome, but we didn’t see that he developed confidence in his beauty at any point in life. The problem with putting your confidence in your beauty is that ‘beauty fades.’ One day you will age or meet a situation where people’s faces are not considered

EXERCISE YOUR AUTHORITY

Image
Until we realize the authority we have as believers, we will not be able to exercise it. So many spiritual people do not really realize what it means to have the Spirit of God. You may have a phone, but if you do not know what to do with it, it will be as good as not having one. You are powerful and you need to start exercising your authority. Let’s take a look at some ways you can exercise the authority you have. You can: 1 .    Create things : in the beginning, the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. That was how God called forth things that weren’t in existence and they became. The good news is, you have that same spirit that hovered over the waters right inside of you. You too can create things out of nothing. 2.    Cast out demons : Jesus sent out the disciples to preach and w hen the seventy-two disciples returned, they

ALL WE NEED IS THE PRESENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Image
The presence of the Holy Spirit makes the difference in life. We are all ordinary, until the spirit of God comes in and makes us extraordinary. Let us look at instances where the presence of the Holy Spirit changed everything. The Holy Spirit changed Peter from the one who was so scared that he denied Jesus to a bold and courageous preacher of the gospel. Acts 2:14-42   14  Then Peter stepped forward with the eleven other apostles and shouted to the crowd, “Listen carefully, all of you, fellow Jews and residents of Jerusalem! Make no mistake about this. 15  These people are not drunk, as some of you are assuming. Nine o’clock in the morning is much too early for that. 16  No, what you see was predicted long ago by the prophet Joel: 17  ‘In the last days,’ God says,      ‘I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy.      Your young men will see visions,      and your old men will dream dreams. 18  In those days I will pour out my Spirit

YOUR HELP IS COMING FROM A DIFFERENT SOURCE BETTER THAN YOU IMAGINED.

Most times, we try to figure things out on our own. We plan our lives the way we want it to be and we go ahead to pursue our goals, but when things do not go as we planned, we become distraught and start seeking for any available help. Then, you will realize that the arm of man fails a lot. Someone may have promised you that once you study a certain course, he/she has a job waiting for you; only for you to graduate and they keep promising and failing. You may have started a certain business hoping your support will come from a certain people only to find out they are not interested at all. You may be hoping that working or associating with certain people will give you financial freedom, but nothing is forth coming. The Lord is asking you today to change your focus. That person you always have in mind when you say amen to prayers of divine helpers locating you; is not really your helper. That source of income you are hoping will one day bring you breakthrough is not where your bre

Do you know it's okay and scriptural to be unbothered?

When we spend time with the Holy Spirit, He will begin to show us things that we do not know they existed. There are things we haven’t realized even though we hear them every time, but it hasn’t become a personal word to us. The moment we get messages that are meant for us; our whole being feels it, and assimilates it deeply. Here are three things that you may not know the scripture teaches: 1.    It is okay to be unbothered: life will always throw us things to worry about. You can’t help but bother when things are not going the way you planned, but   the realization that worrying cannot change anything and that God is asking you to stop and consider the lilies of the field and the birds of the air is like medicine to the mind.   Matthew 6:26   Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?   Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? “So why do yo
