Humbled for a season to receive a crown.

"But Jesus answered them, saying," The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified." John 12:23

Jesus was about to be humbled though he kept using the word 'glorified' and it troubled his soul, but he made it clear that it was the sole purpose of his coming.

Jesus was mindful of the purpose for which he came, that was why he said in John 12:27, "Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? 'Father, save me from this hour?' But for this purpose I came to this hour."

He knew that he had to die, be buried and lifted up from the earth before he can draw all people to himself.

When Jesus was glorified, God was also glorified and for that reason, God glorified Him even more.

"So, when he had gone out Jesus said, 'now, the Son of  Man is glorified, and God is glorified in Him. If God is glorified in Him, God will also glorify Him in Himself, and glorify Him immediately." John 13:31-32.

Watch this to see how how to be glorified: Be glorified

Before we get to the point of glorification, we need to do the following:

1. Discover God's purpose for our lives

Learn more

2. Humble ourselves

Watch this

3. Wait for the appointed time

Go from nothing to something

4. Glorify God
