You can overtake chariots

 

Then the Spirit said to Philip, “Go near and overtake this chariot.”

So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?”

Acts 8:29-30



The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him,
The spirit of wisdom and understanding,
The spirit of counsel and strength,
The spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.

 Isaiah 11:2    

You have the spirit of God in you. That same spirit that enabled Philip to run up to a chariot is in you. He makes you wiser than your teachers, strengthens you in your areas of weakness and reveals hidden things to you. What changes do you need to make in your life armed with this knowledge?


 

1. Stop being afraid:  Fear is one thing stopping a lot of people from living to be all that they can be. When you need to make a decision and fear creeps in, always remember you have that same spirit that made Philip out run a chariot. The Spirit of God makes you unstoppable. You alone have the power to stop yourself.

In life, people make a lot of decisions based on fear. Fear of the unknown, fear of failure, fear of rejection, fear of what tomorrow holds, and a lot of other fears, have kept lives limited. Fear is only a false evidence appearing real, don't let it stop you.

2. Believe:  Nothing stops us like our thoughts and believes. Until you start doing the things you think you can't do, you will be limited by your thoughts. Feed your faith, be intentional about the things you believe. Do not believe a thing because that's what everyone says and don't be afraid of being different.

Believe in the dreams God has placed in your mind. Believe you can do it. Believe that all things will work together for your good. Stop worrying how it will happen and start believing it will.

3. Act: We have a limited time on earth. Just like the Spirit of God asked Philip to run up to the chariot, He has placed a lot of things in our mind that He is asking us to do; the greatest decisions we will make in life is to get up and do it.
